New Castle
Historical Museum

The New Castle Historical Museum was chartered in 1982 in the original Town Hall and Fire Station which was built in 1893 of local brick and later covered with stucco. Many items have been donated by people interested in the local history and put on display in the museum.

The Museum has many wonderful memories of our Town and we are always interested in more. Large items, such as farming implements and wagons, are impossible to display on our small grounds at the Museum, but can now be pictured with a description, on this web site. If you have any Historical Items, large or small, or History of the Town of New Castle or surrounding area and would like the community to know but do not want to donate or give to the Museum, we can work that out too. With the limited space the Historical Museum has, we are now welcoming any interesting articles, items and history of our town to be posted on this site and you keep the item.

Here are just a few items in the museum. Stop by and enjoy a brief step back in history.
